At 7:30 PM, 9 January, 2015, at the Sunshine Coast Arts Centre, 5714 Medusa St. Sechelt, Charles Ennis, the President of the Sunshine Coast Centre of the RASC, will be doing a presentation on “Small Observatories”. Charles has interviewed the builders of over 120 small observatories around the world in the process of writing a Small Observatories Handbook for the RASC. Come find out the fascinating and creative ways that amateur astronomers around the world view the heavens. If you’ve been thinking of building a small observatory to house your telescope, this is a great opportunity to get information you need to make an informed decision. Admittance is by donation.
