I would like to think that our present mayor and council have conducted “Due Diligence” regarding the applications to establish Marihuana Grow Operations in Sechelt. It can’t possibly be enough knowledge of this “Industry” by merely having a vocal member of council as a director of one of the companies (Cannabis Ventures Inc.) applying for a license. Could he give impartial counsel to council? The Canadian Securities Commission on June 13 issued an Investors Alert urging caution for those looking to invest in Marijuana stocks.
I often wonder if we the people make an “EXPLETIVE” mistake when we assume that the people in charge know what they are doing!
