Effective July 18, and until further notice, a campfire ban is in effect for all areas within the Sunshine Coast Fire Protection Districts. This includes all fires whether for warmth, cooking or for ceremonial purposes, and all beach fires. Fires in stoves or barbecues using gas or briquettes in a CSA approved appliance are allowed.
