An all-candidates meeting will be held Thursday, Oct. 30 at the Gibsons Recreation Centre on Park Rd. at 7pm.
Because the event is being broadcast live by Coast Cable, it will start at exactly 7pm and will end at exactly 9 pm. The doors will open at 6:30pm.
Sponsored by the Gibson’s Chamber of Commerce, the event will be moderated by Sean Eckford, news director of 91.7coastFM.
It will feature two forms of questions to the candidates: a 30-second time limit for questions from the floor, and written questions that address multiple candidates with a single issue.
All candidates, and the audience, are expected to treat each other with politeness and respect. The moderator has full authority to pause or close the meeting at any time if a respectful tone cannot be maintained.
