In recent years, the vibrant, active Gibsons and District Chamber of Commerce has reached beyond its traditional boundaries with a new vision. A long-time proponent of strengthening businesses within our own community, this volunteer-led business group reaches out to build a network of business relationships not just in Gibsons, but on the entire Sunshine Coast. We support Visitor Services, the Ferry Ambassador program, and economic development initiatives with our partner SCREDO. Therefore, during Chamber of Commerce Week (Feb. 18-22), we will be emphasizing our mission to advocate, communicate and promote.

Dedicated to protecting and promoting the local business community, the chamber offers members unique opportunities for professional and economic growth. Regular networking events provide more than camaraderie among business owners – they can build business relationships.
Businesses thrive and grow through participating in networking events, professional development workshops, community events and collaborating with other Coast chambers and organizations.
And, of course, there are member benefits, like access to affordable group extended health, dental and insurance. Commercial liability, theft and risk coverage are important perks, especially for home-based or small business. Chamber benefits offer savings, lower risk and competitive positioning. Information is available on our Gibsonschamber.com website, in our newsletters, or give us a call.
The Gibsons chamber’s activity is focused on helping members constantly improve – personally, professionally and financially. And as our businesses thrive, so will Gibsons and our larger Coastal community.
Curious? Come to one of our events, feel the excitement and the warm welcome. Visit us online at gibsonschamber.com , drop by our office in Sunnycrest Mall (Mon.-Thurs., 10 am-2pm) or give us a call for an appointment anytime. Coffee is always on, and discover how we can help your business.
