The Local Weekly is proud to announce that we have received accreditation from the BCYCNA, the British Columbia & Yukon Community Newspaper Association.
We have developed the LOCAL into a publication that is read cover to cover every Thursday by residents and business on the Sunshine Coast. The LOCAL reflects the heart and soul of our communities with news and information about our beautiful region. We could not have done this without the support of our many advertisers and other ongoing supporters and for that we say thank you! We strive to be different, fair and thought provoking in our content and we will continue to share our unique voice on the Sunshine Coast.
