VoiceLab is hosting an online All Candidates Meeting for members of our community and electoral candidates to come together, listen, and be heard.
The three declared candidates in the Powell River – Sunshine Coast riding are slated to be in attendance 7 to 9pm on Thursday Oct 15, streaming live via YouTube and Facebook. Candidates will be asked to share their platforms and respond to questions from our community about affordable housing, employment support, as well as concerns most pressing to young adults and others facing uncertainty amidst the pandemic.
Visit www.voicelab.ca to RSVP for the online meeting or to submit questions to be answered by the candidates during the event.
According to VoiceLab spokesperson Matt McLean “civic participation means more than just election day.” VoiceLab advocates for adults under forty by facilitating community building, education and economic opportunities on the Sunshine Coast year-round. More details about the organization are available on its website.
