The buzz is on in Roberts Creek

It has been a busy time in Roberts Creek over the last few weeks with Spring finally in the air. Flowers are blooming, and there is a steady buzz of activity with people walking around town and enjoying some time back at the beach.
The Roberts Creek Community Hall housed the popular Seedy Saturday event last weekend. It was a huge success with people coming in from as far away as Seattle, WA and Nelson, BC. It’s a chance for people to come together and share information about growing food, swap seeds, buy some plants and seedlings and generally have a good time.
As more and more people look towards Roberts Creek as a destination, it’s town centre has grown to accommodate the new and changing demand for services. Whether you need to see a chiropractor, get your hair done, grab a bite to eat, do some yoga, the Creek has you covered. Also stay tuned for the upcoming 2nd edition of the Roberts Creek Arts Festival.
With Spring break around the corner, be sure to watch out for more children to be out riding bikes and generally frolicking about.
The ever popular Earth Day celebrations are big in Roberts Creek and are scheduled for Sunday April 21 between noon and 5pm at the pier. If you would like to vend please contact Shelia at earthday@robertscreekcommunity.ca.
